Interaction Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid or remote role for an Interaction Designer. This role will be responsible for designing interfaces for external and internal data-centric applications and tools from start to finish. You will have significant influence in the look and feel, UX and data visualization in these early stage applications, and work hand-in-hand with our product engineers.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience – 3 years+

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or similar or equivalent experience
• Demonstrable experience with Information design experience and projects in a professional setting
• Product UI/UX experience
• Ability to work quickly, pragmatically, and provide iterative designs inside 1-3 week delivery increments based on feedback with stakeholders and team members
• Team player, collaboration with team and broader group, able to find consensus across colleagues and stakeholders, develop productive relationships with colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to refine general and sometimes ambiguous requirements and objectives while aligning work with overall strategic objectives
• Experience with Kanban or Scrum methodologies
• Track record of high quality on time delivery, taking initiative, and professional curiosity

Nice to have

• Code experience with Vue, React, Svelte, Webpack. Experience with Vue in particular will be prioritized
• Experience iterating and prototyping with code
• Experience working with healthcare data, familiarity with practical privacy and security methods used within HIPAA for PHI
• Located near Boulder, CO or Boston, MA
